Versatility, mobility, tons of all-you-can-imagine-and-than-more Apps, on the road editing, portfolio showcasing and so much more usage possibilities have already been discussed all around the web and on this Blog.
Add to this equation the new features announced for the new edition of Apple’s yet another game changer and maybe we’ve come to a real must have for photographer’s. Regardless if you consider snapping some once-in-a-lifetime moment with the new and improved camera, performing some basic editing with Photoshop mobile or showcasing your portfolio using the eye staggering Retina Display the gadget has it all and fits close to the chest.
Maybe some will say you can fit it in any bag, but not on many pockets. OK, prices are not so cheap, but with the new version expected to hit the stores on 8AM US time is already on pre-sale at a US$499 starting price tag, iPad2 price has already dropped to US$399. Other than that, many users will sell their iPad2 for a bargain, so they can rush to the new version. This has already shaken the used tech market, but prices should drop even further. I advise extreme caution if you try to buy directly from an unknown user or from eBay or similar.
Uncertain if the new version deserves the entire buzz? Check the samples below and you’re your decision process. A couple of Vietnamese guys just posted some pictures of the amazing display in action. Wondering what is the difference? Compare the icons for Apple Apps (optimized) and others. You can clearly view pixels on these, as you would on an iPad2, but try to find any on iPhotos icon! Click the image to view in full res, go here for more samples.
The preview photos were also seen on Business Insider and MacRumors.
