Shortly after the introduction of the new mighty duo, both D4 and D800’s prices went up on at least one country. Pixiq wrote that the price tag in UK went up £500 and £200 for the D4 and D800. The official statement is that the lower prices were due to a system error. According to Nikon Rumors this is probably going to happen in at least one other European country, maybe Norway.
Actual prices are now £2599 for the D800 and £5289. For those buing in US Dollars, prices are US$5999.95 and US$2999.95 (D4/D800).
For those who pre-ordered, looks like prices will be kept as they when ordered.
