Browsing through the web I stumbled upon some amazing macro shots, mostly portraying water drops and a very refined work.
These pictures are the work of Sharon Johnstone, a photographer with a Fine Art background, who lives in the UK.

On her website she writes “With macro photography I escape to another little world. I love exploring the tiny details in nature that often get over looked. I love finding beautiful colours and abstract compositions within nature and can even get passionate about photographing moss or a blade of grass”.
The equipment used to create the macros is not million-dollar-and-extra-complex, is down to Earth and accessible to us “normal people”. She shoots a Canon 7D, a 60mm f2.8 macro lens, Canon Macro Twin LiteMT-24EX flash, Extension Tubes and LensbabyComposer Lens with macro kit.
