All photos by Fabian Oefner |
Splash pictures always draw attention and get us wondering how is it possible to capture that exact fraction of a second on a frame. There are many ways to do it and many different subjects, but wondering around the web I found these rather unseen photos made by a photographer called Fabian Oefner.
Fabian is, in his own words “an art photographer, who often uses scientific phenomena to create images, being it sound waves, that make color “dance”, flour balloons, that look like cotton blossoms, when they burst or strange materials and liquids.”
As his studio is in Zurich, Switzerland, who knows if he might accept to give us an interview and show some of his amazing work and secrets? This would be a very nice chapter for the podcast that is soon to come!
The following are only some of the shots you can see on his website and are shown with his permission.
