Sony has just announced a new concept in mirrorless cameras, the RX1. This is camera has the most advanced specs in the mirrorless roundup:
- 24MP Full Frame sensor
- 14 bit RAW files
- 3″ LCD
- ISO up to 25,600
- 5 frames per second
- Full HD video with AVCHD 2.0 format
This is the closer to a full flavoured DSLR that the tiny mirrorless have ever gone. An amazing camera, for sure, but at a price tag of US$2,799 it get just too close to the big brothers. That is almost the same price for an jaw-breaking Nikon D800 (at the time I write this Amazon has the D800 available for immediate delivery for US$2,999). Does size matter that much to you?
