Yesterday the spectacular GoPro announced its new and even more amazing wearable camera, the Hero 3.
The first two installments were awesome, now I could not find a proper word to label the new camera. I guess I got out of words, just as their promo video embedded below.
30% smaller and 25% lighter, the camera now sports 3 different options. The black version is the top version, capable of shooting in 4k @12fps, 2.7k @30 fps or impressive 1080p @60fps. The little beast can also shoot 12Mp photos at an amazing 30 fps burst. All this with native wi- fi, wi-fi remote, GoPro App (for Android and IOS). Pretty nifty deal, isn’t it? Black, Silver, and White versions will cost US$400, US$300 and US$200, respectively.
I have read some people complaining about the release and stating that anybody who bought a Hero 2 this past days would be pretty mad. I have to say something to defend GoPro, as they have been “warning” us by e-mail and other media saying that some major news were coming.
Is anybody interested in buying a pair of barely used original GoPro Heros? 🙂
