This February we had another amazing monthly #MeetUp #Photowalk! But it did not look that way since the beginning, it actually looked like it could be a flaw!
Just 30 minutes before the start time heavy rain struck #Zürich. As I was inside the Tram on my way to our meeting point inside Sphéres, I got messages from some of the 18 confirmed photographers telling me that “it doesn’t look good”. ? Despite the bad weather, we gathered a great group of 10 brave photographers, enjoyed some cool moments chatting and discussed some cool topics for the future of our growing group.
“Master Lino” gave us a great suggestion that was accepted right away: we should have a challenge or theme for each Photowalk. Great concept! The theme selected for this Meetup couldn’t be more appropriate: “Shoot the Rain”. Another great idea from Lino was to discuss other activities we can do together, such as an exposition of our photos and some specific photo projects. Keep an eye on our event’s page to grab one of the very limited seats for this “board meeting”
As we went off to shoot the rain was almost gone and left us with gorgeous reflections and opportunities to exercise our photographic ideas. Check the photos below to see the different takes from different image-makers on the same places and subjects. Before enjoying the great images don’t forget to sign-up in the MeetUp page and on Facebook so you don’t lose any of the next events.
