Fantastic Weather and Amazing Company at the Rieterpark Photowalk!
Grüezi Galera!
Our May photowalk at the Rieterpark in Zurich was an absolute delight! On Tuesday, May 28th, we were blessed with fantastic weather that set the perfect backdrop for an energetic and joyful evening. If you want to join our monthly free photo walks, you can join us on the Meetup Website. As the events tend to get overbooked almost instantly, the best way to ensure your spot is to subscribe to our newsletter, which gives you an early heads-up before I publish the scheduled events on our Meetup Group.
If you go all the way to the end you’ll find the photo gallery, it is well worth it!
Patrons, Thank You, Thank You, Thank You. Wait… Thank You!
I’d like to extend a HUGE shout-out to our amazing patrons, whose generous contributions help keep the photowalks free for everyone to enjoy. Your support is invaluable and I cannot thank you enough!

A Warm Welcome to New Faces
The group was quickly buzzing with energy as we welcomed many new photographers into our crew. Even with the fresh faces, we quickly felt like old friends catching up after far too long. There’s something truly special about the bonds formed when creative minds come together, this sensational feeling is the reason why I want to keep the photo walks flowing. Our lively community is very dear to me, thank you all for making these evenings so special for over 5 years already!

Photographers: if you cannot find an email with the model’s contacts, check in the spam folder, my messages tend to find it cosy there. Not there? Contact me, please.
After the Photowalk it is Payback Time!
Photographers, do not forget to send the models their photos after you’ve treated them with love. If you can’t find the email with their contact details, check your inbox and, if you don’t find it, look in your spam folder as my emails seem to find it cosy there!
The Rieterpark: A Photographer’s Playground
For those unfamiliar, the Rieterpark is Zurich’s largest park and offers a photographer’s paradise. The historic park’s meticulously landscaped gardens, ponds, and winding pathways provide a rich tapestry of natural backdrops. Meanwhile, the park’s unique architectural features—from the iconic “Gemüsebrücke” bridge to the charming gazebos—lend ample opportunities for creative portraits and environmental shots.
Located in Zürich’s Enge district, Rieterpark is the largest and one of the most beautiful parks in town. The park is home to the Museum Rietberg and offers expansive lawns, picturesque pathways, and majestic trees, making it an ideal location for photography. The combination of natural beauty and historical architecture provides endless opportunities for stunning shots.
Rieterpark’s sprawling meadows and mature trees create a serene backdrop perfect for portrait photography. The park’s scenic views of Lake Zurich and the distant Alps add a touch of grandeur to any shot. Additionally, the historical Villa Wesendonck and other charming buildings within the park offer a blend of architectural and natural elements that are perfect for creative compositions.
The park’s tranquil ponds and flower gardens provided beautiful settings for close-up shots and macro photography. Meanwhile, the playground area, where we started our walk, offered dynamic opportunities for capturing candid, lively moments.
A Community of Passion
Moments like these remind me why I’m passionate about growing this community of photographers. It’s more than just capturing beautiful imagery; it’s about forging connections, exploring our creativity together, and supporting one another’s artistic journeys, all of that while making new amazing friends. Thank you all for joining this amazing journey through these years!
